and counting calories! Our Slim For Life breaks at Three Owls
Farm will introduce you to foods that taste good, make you feel good
and which could lead to permanent weight loss to keep you fit and well.
If you have been struggling with a weight problem, large or small,
there is help at hand from fitness professional Annie Briggs who has
been enjoying much success over the past few years with her healthy
'no-diet' approach to shedding the pounds.
Annie
has not always been slim and is sympathetic to the despair felt when
the scales continue to go up or when weight lost on a diet goes back
on...and more.
She offers short holidays at her unique North Norfolk fitness facility
to share the secrets of healthy slimming. Here she will inspire you
to make the small changes which can make a big
difference to your waistline, your health and your happiness.
Guests
are accommodated in one of the lovely Three Owls Cottages at the farm
near Blakeney, to enjoy privacy, rest, comfort and relaxation in one
of the
most beautiful locations on the North Norfolk coast. Most guests prefer
a
cottage on their own but can share if they choose, either with a friend
or
with another participant on a training holiday.
The cottages have underfloor heating, some have jacuzzi baths and rain-head
showers, and all feature mod-cons including plasma TVs and surround
sound. Wi-Fi Broadband is available in the cottages. The kitchens are
well-equipped and, as an optional extra, a chef can be booked for a
two-hour cookery course to offer encouragement and guidance, as well
as filling the fridge with tasty meals!
The Slim For Life holidays ideally last a week or much longer but can
also be for just a few days, individually designed for you and your
budget.
The week-long breaks cost £860 and include at least eight hours
of private training, optional classes, a wholefood hamper and written
material. Much of the exercise is out-of-doors and includes Nordic Walking
and Power-Walking, both of which are fantastic all-body fitness training
activities ideal for anyone regardless of age or ability. There is no
age limit.
Nordic Walking uses poles
which burns lots of calories without feeling like hard work while Power-Walking
is simply a means of 'walking with a purpose' carrying light weights
to encourage muscle toning and increased fitness levels.
Participants
exercise entirely within their own ability and gradual improvements
in fitness are encouraged, often leading to major health benefits. Many
participants have found themselves looking and feeling younger too.
For those who can find a little extra energy, there are lovely places
to explore and to visit and time for a seal trip or lunch out, if desired.
Annie is a Personal Trainer and nutrition expert with a passion for
putting the pleasure into eating and training. Her overwhelming message
is that losing weight does not have to be about deprivation or dieting
- there is
little place for calorie or point counting, nor for slimming foods.
She is interested in long term results and her goal is to turn each
Slim For Life participant into a healthy and permanently slim, normal
eater.
